Nitin Deshmukh

Nitin Deshmukh is an experienced professional in the fields of private equity, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals, currently serving as an Independent Board Member for various organizations including Veeda, Advanced Enzymes, and the Institute of Chemical Technology. Nitin has held multiple senior advisory and leadership roles, including Founding Partner and CEO at Kotak Alternate Asset Managers Limited since June 2004, as well as Chief of Private Equity Investments at ICICI Venture from 1989 to 2001. Nitin was instrumental in co-founding the Private Equity business at Dresdner Kleinwort in India and served as the Honorary Director General for the Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises. Nitin holds multiple advanced degrees in management and pharmaceutical technology from esteemed institutions, including a Master’s in Pharmaceutical Technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology and a Master’s Degree in Management from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.
