Scott Harrelson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Scott started their career as a Grocery Manager at The Kroger Company in 1982. Scott then moved on to work as a General Manager at Fleming Enterprises, where they managed multiple restaurants. In 1986, they became the General Manager of The Montego Inn before transitioning to become the Owner and Founder of Thoroughbreds Restaurant in 1988.
In 2003, Scott ventured into real estate and opened their own company, Harrelson Real Estate Services. Scott also joined Kotis Properties as the Leasing and Brokerage Manager in South Carolina, eventually becoming the Head of brokerage, leasing, and development for the state. Scott later took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at Restaurant Investors, LLC, a division of Kotis Properties, where they oversaw the operations of Darryl's Woodfire Grill and other upcoming restaurant concepts in the Greensboro, NC market.
Throughout their career, Scott has gained extensive experience in restaurant operations, real estate, leasing, brokerage, and management.
Scott Harrelson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Coastal Carolina University, where they attended from 1982 to 1986. Scott later pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina, although specific dates of attendance are not provided.

Kick Ass Concepts (Kotis Holdings LLC) owns approximately 1 million square feet of retail properties in the Carolinas which it manages internally. It owns and operates 5 hospitality companies - Darryl's Wood Fired Grill, RED Cinemas, Painted Plate Catering, Pig Pounder Brewery and Burger Warfare. It holds an unlimited unclassified general contractors license as well as real estate brokerage licenses. Our owner has sponsored and curated over 250 public art installations in the area. The company is well known for the development of the Midtown area of Greensboro, NC. Current projects include a 10 acre mixed use shops and lofts project, 11 acre entertainment and retail project in downtown Greensboro, and myriad other developments and redevelopments. The company culture is fun and cool. Our office includes street art, top tech, Japanese toilets and a kegerator. Our owner is an entrepreneur, innovator and thought leader.
