Koos Smoor

Koos Smoor possesses extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as the Manager Fleetperformance & Innovation at KOTUG International since 2004, where responsibilities include identifying and prioritizing innovations and maintaining a fleet efficiency tool. Prior to this role, Koos was the Group Technical Manager at KOTUG, overseeing the maintenance of all managed tugs. Earlier experience includes working as a Newbuilding Superintendent at Dockwise from 1992 to 2004, managing the construction and conversion of various vessels, and serving as a Marine Engineer at KOTUG International between 1988 and 1992. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Maritime Technology from Delft University of Technology and degrees from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and M.S.V.S. Scheveningen.
