Aaron Willey

Aaron Willey has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Aaron is currently employed as a Software Engineer in Test at Kount, an Equifax Company since May 2022. Prior to this, from September 2020 to May 2022, they worked at Clarivate as a Software Engineering Manager. Aaron also held the role of an Engineering Manager at CPA Global from August 2019 to September 2020, and before that, they served as a Quality Assurance Lead - Software Engineer from May 2017 to August 2019.

Aaron has also gained valuable experience in the military and defense sector. Aaron served in the Idaho Air National Guard for over 10 years, from June 2008 to February 2019, where they held the position of a Retired- Electronic Warfare Production Supervisor 2A071D - Technical Sergeant - Traditional Guardsman. As part of their role, they performed and managed avionics test station activities, repaired electronic radar systems and jamming pods, and also managed shop maintenance activities and work flow.

Prior to their military service, Aaron worked at Macy's as a Software Engineer from April 2014 to January 2017. Aaron was a member of the Test Automation Team responsible for developing an automated testing framework. Additionally, they gained experience in testing and quality assurance as a Test Engineer at Adecco from May 2013 to 2014, where they worked under Hewlett-Packard on system-level tests and troubleshooting for multi-function printers.

Aaron's early career included roles at Micron Technology as a Reticle Technician from June 2008 to January 2009, and at the US Air Force from January 1999 to June 2008, where they performed avionics test station activities and repaired electronic radar systems and jamming pods. Aaron also served in the United States Air Force as a Technical Applications Technician AFSC 9S100 from August 2005 to May 2008, where they performed data collection, analysis, research and development, and fielding of prototype and operational electronic sensors and systems.

Aaron Willey attended Fred C Beyer High School and obtained a diploma in Science and Math in 1996. Aaron then pursued an Associate Degree in Avionic Systems Technology at the Community College of the Air Force, completing it in 2004. Afterwards, Aaron enrolled in the Special Instruments Training Flight (SPINSTRA) in 2006, where they focused on being a monitor of international nuclear treaties. Concurrently, they also earned an Associate Degree in Scientific Analysis Technology from the Community College of the Air Force in the same year. Finally, Aaron studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Boise State University from 2009 to 2012.
