Ken Kuriki

Ken Kuriki has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ken currently holds the position of Asia Pacific Growth Director in Growth & Technology at Koura since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Part-time Lecturer at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, focusing on R&D activities of global companies. Ken also had a long tenure at DSM, where they served in various roles such as Director of Commercial Development, Director of Innovation, and Japan Sustainability Lead. Ken has experience in commercial and new business development, sustainability initiatives, and organizing forums with governments and private sectors. Before joining DSM, Ken worked as a Technical Leader at Cabot Corporation and as a Project Engineer at SABIC Innovative Plastics. Ken also has research experience as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Polytechnic University. Ken Kuriki completed their education at Keio University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Chemistry from 1992 to 1996. Ken later pursued a Ph.D. in Material Science from 1997 to 2002. In addition, they have participated in various professional development programs, such as the Corporate Leadership program at Babson College in 2013 and the Marketing & Sales Program at Vlerick Business School in 2017. Most recently, in 2018, Ken attended IMD for the Global Leadership in the Cloud (GLC) program.
