James Wu

James Wu, CPA, has established a solid foundation in accounting and finance through diverse experiences in various roles. Currently a Senior Associate at K&P CPAs since December 2021, James previously served as a Junior Associate in the same firm. James demonstrated strong financial management skills as Treasurer and Fundraiser Creator for the WLU Fashion Society, overseeing financial assets and implementing modern payment solutions. A summer position at Metrolinx involved collaborating on payroll data migration to Oracle Cloud and creating user acceptance testing scripts. James has also contributed to education as a Student Instructor in Managerial Accounting, leveraging innovative teaching methods to enhance student understanding. Earlier roles include Assistant Bookkeeper at Gold Crown Brewery, focusing on volume analyses, and Event Coordinator for the International Music Education Centre, facilitating a music festival and engaging with artists and sponsors. James holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University.
