Carsten Wengel

Carsten Wengel has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Carsten is currently the Group CEO at KP Components, a position they assumed in October 2022. Before that, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Hagens Fjedre A/S - Member of Hagens Spring Group since June 2015. Additionally, Carsten has been the Owner of CW Holding Aps since January 2006. Carsten has also held various positions on the board of directors for several companies including Bøgballe A/S, Borg Automotive A/S, Car Parts Industries Aps, Nyborg Steel Terminal A/S, and Dissing A/S.

Carsten has also worked in the education sector as an External Examiner for BEng, BSc, and MSc programs at multiple universities including the Technical University of Denmark, University of Southern Denmark, Aalborg University, and Aarhus University. Carsten held these roles from 1998 to the present.

In 2019, Carsten served as the CEO of Schur Star Systems Australia Ply. Ltd and Senior Advisor at Schur Technology A/S until October 2022. Prior to that, they were a member of the board of directors at KOMPAS Hotel Aalborg and also served as Chairman of the board from January 2011 to December 2020.

Carsten's previous roles include Chairman of DI Sydøstjylland at DI - Dansk Industri from May 2016 to April 2019, and a member of the board of directors at DI Transport from January 2017 to December 2018. Carsten was also the Vice President of the Pork Business Unit at Danish Crown from November 2015 to April 2019. Carsten served as the CEO of Steel Service Center at Ib Andresen Industri A/S from April 2011 to October 2015.

Carsten'searlier experience includes serving as the Executive Vice President of the OEM Division at Nissens A/S from September 2007 to March 2011. Carsten was also a member of the board of directors at Nissens Industrial Cooler Tianjin Co and Nissens Slovakia s.r.o during this period. Before that, Carsten held the position of Vice President and COO at Nissens A/S from June 2006 to August 2007.

Carsten Wengel pursued their education in several institutions and obtained different degrees. In 1987, they enrolled at Aalborg University, where they completed a Master of Science degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations in 1992. Following this, in 1993, they attended Mannaz | Kurser, uddannelser og konsulentydelser, participating in a Master class in Project Management Program, which concluded in 1997. In 1999, Carsten further expanded their education by attending IMD, where they successfully completed the International Management Program, earning a Master's degree in the same year.
