John Meadowcroft

John Meadowcroft has a diverse work experience spanning over 24 years. John began their career as an Audit Manager at Ernst & Young, where they gained extensive auditing experience in various industries such as biotech, software, car dealerships, and retail. John was also selected to participate in the E&Y International Exchange program, working in Sydney and focusing on global businesses in manufacturing, retail, and distribution.

After leaving Ernst & Young, John Meadowcroft joined Low&Bonar as the Group Financial Controller, where they led a small headquarters team in coordinating and consolidating group reporting, forecasting, budgeting, tax matters, and day-to-day treasury operations. John was also responsible for routine dealings with auditors and the production of annual reports and accounts.

Subsequently, they joined Fuller, Smith & Turner, initially as a Group Financial Controller and later promoted to Divisional Finance Director - pubs business. In this role, John Meadowcroft was a Member of the Divisional Board, overseeing the financial operations of a 400-strong pub business with an annual turnover of £250m and operating profits of £40m.

Later, they served as the Head of Group Finance at HSS Hire, responsible for the financial activities within the company. Currently, John Meadowcroft holds the role of Head of Commercial Finance at KP Snacks.

John Meadowcroft attended the IMD Business School in 2015 for a course in Advanced Strategic Management. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Oxford from 1990 to 1994, earning a BA(Hons) degree in Chemistry.
