Ylva Wessén

Ylva Wessén is the current Chairman at KPA Pension AB. Ylva has previously worked for Folksam, where they served as Chief of Staff, Deputy CEO from January 2016 to January 2019. Prior to that, they were Head of risk and compliance at Folksam ömsesidig sakförsäkring from January 2013 to January 2016, Chef GRC (Governance, Risk och Compliance) from January 2011 to January 2013, and Chief compliance officer from January 2009 to January 2011. Wessén began their career at Folksam as a Bolagsjurist in 2007 before becoming a Försäkringsjurist the following year. From 2000 to 2007, they worked as an Advokat at Advokatfirma DLA Nordic. Prior to that, they served as a Tingsnotarie at Skövde tingsrätt from 1998 to 2000.

Ylva Wessén started their educational career by studying for a Jur kand degree in Law at Stockholms universitet. Ylva then went on to study for a European Master in Law and Economics at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Universität Hamburg / University of Hamburg.
