Abdus Samad

Abdus Samad is a Technology Risk Consultant at KPMG Canada since April 2024, specializing in IT audits for complex financial systems, focusing on IT General Controls and SOC-2 Type 2 compliance audits. Prior to this role, Abdus served as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Knowlarity Communications from July 2021 to April 2024, leading teams in process re-engineering. Abdus also worked as a Frontend Developer at Z1 Media, where innovative ad tech products were developed, and as a Software Engineer at FoodRill, revolutionizing the food ordering experience through web application design. Earlier experiences include internships at Tata Consultancy Services, HP, and Glocar Informatics and Media Pvt. Ltd. Abdus is currently pursuing a Project Management degree in Information Technology at Seneca Polytechnic after obtaining a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Jamia Hamdard.
