Derek Gee

Derek Gee is a finance professional with extensive experience in financial management, transformation, and consulting. Currently serving as a Manager of Finance Transformation at KPMG Canada since December 2023, Derek has led finance function transformation projects and improved key business processes. Prior to this role, as Chief of Staff at Yervana from March 2018 to October 2023, Derek established operational effectiveness across multiple departments and facilitated strategic workshops. Derek's background includes significant experience at KPMG Canada as a Senior Consultant/Accountant, where financial management engagements and risk consulting were key responsibilities, as well as serving as a GST Auditor at the Canada Revenue Agency. Derek holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Alberta and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
