Rakan Aown

Rakan Aown is an experienced executive in the taxation and business development sectors. Currently serving as Executive Director, Tax at KPMG Canada since April 2022, Rakan previously held the position of Vice President, Business Development at UREEQA Inc., where the focus was on leveraging blockchain technology to protect artistic creators' rights and revenue. Rakan's extensive experience includes roles as Director of Market Relations and Vice President of Business Development at KPMG US, as well as Proprietor and Certified Business Coach at Action Coach Business Coaching. Earlier career achievements include serving as National Account Manager at BCE Nexxia and Business Development Manager at Sprint Canada. Rakan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto - University of St. Michael's College.
