Marian Bugar

Marian Bugar is an experienced Data Engineer currently working at KPN since April 2021, overseeing a data platform that supports numerous reports for stakeholders and leading the migration of components to Azure Cloud. Prior to this, Marian held positions at VodafoneZiggo, where an end-to-end automated data platform was created for finance data extraction, and at NN, where a comprehensive data platform for IFRS data was built using Azure and AWS technologies. Earlier experience includes roles at Rabobank Utrecht, focusing on ETL development and database performance, GFT as an ETL Informatica Powercenter Consultant for Deutsche Bank, and Indra managing ETL pipelines for various clients. Marian holds a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and has extensive expertise in data modeling, pipelining, automation, and deployment pipelines across multiple cloud environments.
