VP, Product at KQED

Duke Fan is KQED’s vice president of Product and leads all of the station’s digital teams, including product management, user experience and design, and software engineering.

Duke arrived at KQED in 2021 with more than 25 years of experience building products and teams at publicly traded companies and tech startups. He was at the forefront of personalization technology, working on My Yahoo! and innovating with Yahoo! Toolbar, which has been installed on browsers in more than 20 international markets. During the dawn of mobile apps, his teams at realtor.com launched many industry-first features. Duke has also held product roles at Netflix and Stitch Fix. He’s passionate about coaching high-performance teams to operate at the intersection of business, user experience and technology.

Duke majored in mass communications at UC Berkeley and earned an MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business.
