Jarrett McPeek has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Jarrett began their career in 1995 as a Director and Field Director at NBC KJRH TV in Tulsa. Jarrett then moved on to CBS WFOR TV in Miami, where they served as a Director and Technical Director from 1996 to 1999. In 1999, they joined NBC KRON TV in San Francisco as a Director. In 2000, they joined Pushloop Media LLC as a Co-Founder and later became a Freelance Aerial Videographer at Helicopter's Inc. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as the Director of Pushloop Media LLC. Jarrett then transitioned to roles within the media industry, working at KPIX | CBS San Francisco/Bay Area as a Director and later as the Media Technologies Director from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, they joined KPIX | CBS San Francisco/Bay Area as the Manager of Technical Operations until 2018. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as an Associate Director of Technology at Hawaii News Now. Finally, they currently hold two roles at KQED, serving as the Production Design Consultant since April 2020 and as the Director of Technical Operations since June 2020.

Jarrett McPeek attended the University of Montana, Missoula from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree. Jarrett'sfield of study was Radio/Television and Advertising.
