Jason Brenneman-Black is an accomplished media executive with extensive experience in content operations and production. Currently serving as Executive in Charge at KQED since 2011, Jason leads initiatives such as the Building Renovation Initiative and oversees digital and broadcast production, strategic projects, and board relations. Previous roles at KQED include Chief of Staff and Executive Producer, where responsibilities encompassed high-level support for the organization and management of cross-platform production projects. Earlier in their career, Jason held positions at NBC Universal, Black Ink Entertainment, and various production companies where Jason contributed to feature films and television projects. Jason's educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Digital Media from the University of California, Santa Cruz, along with acting studies at The A.C.T. Conservatory and Solano Community College, complemented by foundational leadership training from service in the US Marine Corps.
