Broadcast Operations Engineer at KQED

Liz Medina has extensive experience in broadcast operations, currently serving as a Broadcast Operations Engineer at KQED since April 1987. In this role, Liz monitors and edits multiple playlists and performs analog to digital conversions for air preparation. Prior to KQED, Liz worked at Fox Television from December 1993 to April 2002 as a Camera Operator and Utility Operator, handling live feeds and production for news and sporting events. Earlier experience includes serving as a Technical Director and Video Tape Operator at NBC News from April 1983 to December 1985. Liz holds a diploma from Broadcast Trade School with a 1st Class FCC license and an Associate of Arts degree in Women's Studies and English from Ohlone College, along with a high school education from Milpitas High School.
