Dana Weinstein currently serves as Principal Assistant Director and Special Advisor for CHIPS R&D at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. In addition, Dana holds the position of Senior Research Fellow at the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue and is a Professor and Associate Dean of Graduate Education in the College of Engineering at Purdue University. Dana's academic career began at Cornell University, where Dana completed a Ph.D. in Applied Physics. Dana's professional experience includes a range of roles in academia and research institutions, focusing on the analysis, simulation, design, and testing of silicon-based MEMS/NEMS resonators, as well as contributions to projects involving ultrafast x-ray technology and piezoresistive effects in transistors.
