Niels Truong has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Niels is currently the COO at Kraftvaerk, where they have been working since 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Strategy & Experience Officer at the same company from 2021 to 2023.

Before joining Kraftvaerk, Niels worked at Monstarlab starting in 2012. During their time there, they held multiple roles including Senior Vice President Strategy, Consultancy & Experience, SVP Strategy, Consultancy & Experience EMEA, Creative Director EMEA, Head of UX & Design, Client Director, and Digital Advisor. In these roles, they were involved in various digital agency disciplines such as project management, usability and user experience, consultancy, and concept development.

Niels started their career at Creuna in 2009 as a User Experience Consultant, where they worked with a range of clients both Danish and international. Prior to that, they were a Student Assistant in the UX Team.

Niels also gained experience at Carlsberg Group as a Student Helper at Group Sales and Marketing, at Coop Denmark NETtorvet as a Student Helper, and at HUR - Greater Copenhagen Authority as a Presseklipper.

Throughout their career, Niels Truong has demonstrated versatility and a strong understanding of the commercial side of digital projects.

Niels Truong has a strong educational background in the management of innovation and business development. Niels obtained a Master of Science degree from Copenhagen Business School, specializing in Innovation Management and Business Development, from 2003 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Cand. Merc (MIB) degree in management of innovation and business development from Copenhagen Business School, graduating in 2011. Niels Truong also earned a Master of Science degree from Ingrid Jespersens Gymnasieskole from 1990 to 1998, focusing on the same field of study.
