Roman Schild has a diverse work experience in the fields of technology, cyber security, and engineering. Roman started their career as an Inbetriebsetzungsingenieur at Bosch Sigpack Systems, where they were involved in the commissioning of packaging machines and programming of control systems. Afterward, they joined Kraftwerke Oberhasli AG (KWO), where they held various leadership roles including Leiter Technik & Cyber Security (CISO) and Leiter Elektrotechnik. In their roles at KWO, they managed teams and projects related to various areas of electrical engineering, including high voltage, control systems, communication networks, and cyber security. Roman also gained experience in project management, leading initiatives such as the replacement of power cables and the installation of GIS switchgear.
Roman Schild's education history includes earning an Eidg. Dipl. El. Ing. FH degree in Elektrotechnik, Eletronik und Kommunikationstechnik from Berner Fachhochschule BFH. This degree was obtained from 2001 to 2004.
