Darpan Khanna

Darpan Khanna serves as the Global Head of Compliance Strategy at Kraken Digital Asset Exchange, where responsibilities include developing and executing the global compliance strategy, overseeing special compliance projects, and optimizing business processes. Previously, Darpan held the title of Global Head of KYC Operations at Kraken, focusing on global KYC programs and banking partner relationships. Prior to that, Darpan was the Deputy BSA/AML Officer and Head of Model Risk at Chime, and a Senior Manager at EY, where leadership was provided to the regulatory compliance technology practice. Early career roles included positions at Wellington Management, City University of New York, and Sapient. Darpan holds an MBA in Finance from The City University of New York, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, and is currently pursuing executive education at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
