Robert Sandoval

Robert Sandoval currently serves as Legal Counsel at Kraken Digital Asset Exchange since April 2023 and is also a Commissioner on the Park & Recreation Commission for the City of San Rafael, a position held since December 2020. Previously, Robert worked as an Associate at Morrison & Foerster LLP from April 2019 to February 2023 and held roles as an Adjunct Professor at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and as Product Counsel (Secondee) at Meta during 2021. Robert's early experience includes serving as a Law Clerk for the U.S. District Court, an Honors Deputy Attorney General at the California Department of Justice, and as a Judicial Extern for Cook County Government. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Economics from Occidental College. Notably, Robert received the 2017 California Attorney General's Team Award for contributions to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Litigation Team.
