Darren Bennett

Darren Bennett is an experienced security professional currently serving as the Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions since October 2023. Bennett's extensive background includes roles as a Board Member for the San Diego CISO Roundtable since June 2014 and various leadership positions within the City of San Diego from August 2017 to October 2023, culminating in the role of Chief Information Security Officer. Prior experience includes the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as the Western Region Lead, Computer Scientist, where responsibilities encompassed team leadership and various aspects of information security analysis. Additional roles include Chief Information Security Officer at the San Diego Supercomputer Center and IT Manager at SAIC. Bennett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from the University of Redlands, completed in 2005.
