Lucas Pompeo

Lucas Pompeo is a Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in medical device manufacturing and design. Currently serving as Mechanical Design Engineer 2 at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, Lucas has previously held roles at MerchSource, Applied Medical, and Caretaker Medical, where responsibilities included designing PCB test fixtures and improving device enclosures. Early career experience includes internships at RIVANNA and Cadence Inc., where Lucas enhanced manufacturing processes and device design using SolidWorks. Lucas is also the founder of Scarpa Customs, specializing in custom sneaker design. An undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering was earned from the University of Virginia.
