Matthew Opoka

Matthew Opoka possesses extensive experience in system engineering and administration, particularly within IBM POWER series architecture and multi-tiered enterprise environments. Currently serving as a Senior System Engineer AIX POWER at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions since November 2014, Matthew manages a complex infrastructure that includes POWER9 servers, Virtual I/O Servers, and over 300 LPARs. Previous roles include Systems Specialist AIX Administrator for the Office of Information Technology Services for North Carolina, where Matthew supported a multi-data center environment and was instrumental in hardware management and OS installation procedures. Matthew's early career included positions as Shift Technical Lead at Arsenal Digital Solutions and various roles in IT consulting and system administration. Matthew holds an educational background from Hinds Community College.
