Dr. Thomas Unger

Dr. Thomas Unger has over 9 years of work experience in the field of extrusion technology. Dr. Thomas is currently serving as the Vice President of Technology at KraussMaffei Extrusion since January 2023. Prior to this, Dr. Unger held the position of Interim Manager and Director of Order Engineering from January to December 2022 at the same company. From October 2020 to December 2022, they worked as the Director of R&D and Process Engineering. Dr. Unger also has experience as the Head of the Process Department from June to October 2020.

Before joining KraussMaffei Extrusion, Dr. Unger worked at Leistritz Extrusion Technology. From January 2017 to May 2020, they served as the Head of the Process Department.
