Steven Sherman

Steven Sherman is an experienced attorney and consultant specializing in the energy industry and international trade. Presently serving as Of Counsel at Krieg DeVault LLP since November 2023, Steven previously held roles at The Alliance Risk Group, LLC, and ran an independent legal practice while also providing consulting services on international business development and energy issues in Europe and Africa. Steven has held significant positions such as Director of Contracts and Legal at eSmart Systems, Counsel to the National Energy Marketers Association, and Partner at Krieg DeVault LLP, where expertise in energy law and international trade was developed. Additionally, Steven served as a visiting professor of energy law at Lublin University of Technology and practiced as Counsel for ProLiance Energy. Steven holds a JD from The University of Memphis—Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law and a BA from The University of Toledo.
