Katie Byrne

Katie Byrne is a seasoned professional in the food industry, currently serving as the Country Manufacturing Manager at Krispy Kreme UK & IRE since November 2021, previously holding the title of Assistant General Manager. Prior experience includes a five-year tenure at Butlers Chocolates, where Katie progressed from Quality Assistant to Assistant Quality Manager, managing a variety of quality control responsibilities such as HACCP checks and supplier approval. Earlier roles include a Quality Control Technician internship at Donnelly Fruit and Veg, focusing on essential quality checks and traceability exercises. Katie holds a Master of Science in Food Business Management & Technology from Technological University Dublin and a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Innovation from Dublin Institute of Technology.
