Matt Pfeffer has a diverse background in the field of analytics, particularly in the hockey industry. Matt started their career as a Statistical Analyst with PowerScout Hockey in 2014 and then moved on to work as a Statistical Analyst for the Ottawa 67s Hockey Club from 2013 to 2015. During this time, they also had a role as a Statistical Analyst - Consultant with the San Jose Sharks from 2014 to 2015.
In 2015, Pfeffer worked as a Statistical Analyst for Le Journal De Montreal for a brief period of two months before joining the Montreal Canadiens as a Statistical Analyst - Consultant from 2015 to 2016. Matt then transitioned to Hockey Canada, where they served as a Statistical Analyst from 2014 to 2019.
