Claire Crane

Claire Crane is a Threat Intelligence Analyst Intern at Hozint - Horizon Intelligence since May 2023. Previously, Claire served as an Upper & Middle School Mandarin Chinese Teacher at Austin Preparatory School from July 2019 to June 2022, teaching introductory and intermediate Mandarin, advising students in grades 9-12, and moderating three clubs. Additional experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Middlebury College, focusing on Japan's interwar period, and an internship with The Carter Center, where Claire translated texts and organized workshops. Claire's early career included a Government Relations Internship at Staten Island Borough Hall, assisting with public communications and social media. Claire holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and a Bachelor's degree in History, Linguistics, and Chinese from Middlebury College, along with significant language study experience in China.
