Baran Barut

Baran Barut is an experienced professional in telecommunications and network solutions, currently serving as the Director of Telco Solutions at Kron since October 2020, where responsibilities include presenting cybersecurity products to customers across APAC, MEA, and Turkey, as well as managing partner relations and product improvement initiatives. Previous roles include Solution Consultant at DEMSISTEM, where expertise was provided in presales and post-sales for various technology products, and IP/MPLS Domain Architect at Nokia, where contributions were made to service provider migration strategies and solution design. With a background as Technical Account Manager at Turkcell and Network Support Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent, Baran possesses extensive technical and customer management experience. Academic credentials include a BS and MS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Boğaziçi University and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, respectively, along with research experience in mathematical modeling and biological sequences during graduate studies.
