Rosie Villagomez

Rosie Villagomez is a Senior Scientist at Kronos Bio, with a career spanning over a decade in research within the fields of microbiology and chemistry. At Kronos Bio since April 2020, Rosie has held multiple roles, including Scientist and Senior Research Associate. Prior experiences include serving as a Research Associate at Baylor College of Medicine, where Rosie implemented chemical and genetic perturbation strategies to explore transcription factor control in glioblastoma. Additionally, Rosie worked at Houston Methodist as a Senior Research Assistant, where the focus was on hit-to-lead prioritization for the nuclear receptor Tailless (TLX) and identifying its ligands. Early research experience involved undergraduate roles at Rice University and the University of Houston-Downtown, concentrating on nanowires and DNA sensing technologies, respectively.
