Albert Lin is a quantitative researcher at Kronos Research since July 2024, focusing on alpha research. Albert has been an undergraduate research assistant at National Taiwan University since July 2021, working under Professor Hsuan-Tein Lin on conformal prediction for time series forecasting. Previously, Albert served as a quantitative research intern and conducted research on US market financial trading strategies while at WorldQuant and Kronos Research. Additional experiences include internships at Jim Quant Capital, where Albert researched stock clustering and pair-trading strategies in the Taiwan equity market, and Synology, where Albert developed a metadata syncing mechanism. Albert holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Engineering, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, and also participated in the Creativity and Entrepreneurship Program at National Taiwan University. Leadership roles included serving as Director of Academics and Curation for the Global Initiatives Symposium.
