Rune Christensen

Rune Christensen has extensive experience in water management and digital innovation. As the Digital Director and Head of Digital Innovation at Krüger A/S since October 2019, Rune has pioneered the creation of a dedicated digital solutions department and emphasized data-driven decision making. Previous roles include Head of Department for Climate Change and Urban Drainage at Krüger A/S, and Head of Department for Urban Water at DHI, where responsibilities encompassed managing specialists and driving digital solutions in water distribution and wastewater treatment. Rune has also held significant positions at Schneider Electric focused on international business development and digital solutions in the water sector. Educationally, Rune holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the Technical University of Denmark.
