Ashish Kulkarni

Ashish Kulkarni is an experienced professional in the field of applied artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Director of Applied AI at Krutrim since April 2024. Prior roles include Associate Research Director at both Rakuten Institute of Technology and Rakuten from September 2021 to April 2024, and Associate Director at Clustr from December 2018 to August 2021. Ashish has extensive experience as a Machine Learning Scientist at Amazon and as a Principal Data Scientist at Jabong Labs, along with positions at Yodlee and IBM. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Master’s degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Ashish's work has focused on machine learning applications in information extraction, retrieval, and sentiment analysis, contributing to advancements in autonomous machine learning models.
