Jody Conrad, MBA has a wealth of experience in the oil and gas industry. Starting in 2002 as a Product Support Technologist at Brandt Engineered Products Ltd., Jody was responsible for managing production and after sales support for the Brandt Road Rail units. During this time, Jody implemented Kanban and JIT manufacturing processes and reduced lead times by 40%. In 2005, Jody began working at Schlumberger as an Oil Phase Technologist, followed by a role as a Mechanical Designer at TTS Sense AS. At TTS Sense, Jody worked overseas in Stavanger Norway on Rack & Pinion rig design projects. In 2006, Jody began working at Canrig Drilling Technology Ltd. as a Mechanical Designer, where Jody assisted with the ERP Implementation for all engineering technical data and developed the company engineering manual and standards. In 2008, Jody began working at Schlumberger in various roles including Rig Operations, Operations Analyst, and Senior Drilling Equipment Technologist. In 2012, Jody became the Operations Manager at Prostar Manufacturing Inc. formerly Rangeland Drilling Automation Inc., where they were responsible for product budget, delivery, and quality. Finally, in 2016, Jody founded and became the CEO of Krux Analytics Inc., where they save mining and drilling companies time and money by targeting efficiencies and optimizing performance.
Jody Conrad has obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Queen's University in 2018. Prior to that, they had obtained a Bachelor Degree in Technology from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2012, with a field of study in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Jody also obtained a CAD/CAM Engineering Technologist from Saskatchewan Polytecnic in 2002. In addition, they have obtained a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T) from ASET | The Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta in 2002.
