Maura Mitchell

Maura Mitchell is an experienced professional currently serving as Managing Director of Entrepreneurial Services at the Women's Business Development Center, where responsibilities include managing a team that provides technical assistance and training to enhance business development for Chicago’s entrepreneurial community, particularly focusing on minorities and underserved neighborhoods. In addition to this role, Maura holds positions as Secretary on the Boards of Directors for KSM Industries, Inc., and WB Enterprises, Inc., advising on strategic planning and financial management. Previous experience includes work as an attorney at Wagenmaker & Oberly, LLC, where Maura assisted in creating nonprofit organizations, and roles with various legal institutions providing support to low-income communities and entrepreneurs. Maura’s educational background includes an MBA in Finance and Business Policy from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Doctor of Law from DePaul University College of Law.
