Thamer Almangour

Thamer Almangour serves as an Associate Professor and Chairman of the Clinical Pharmacy Department at King Saud University since February 2019. In addition, Thamer holds the position of Director of the infectious diseases residency program and supervises the PharmD internship program at the same institution. Thamer also works as a Consultant, infectious diseases clinical pharmacist at King Saud University- Medical City since March 2019. Previous experience includes a Postdoctoral Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy Fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a PGY2 Infectious Disease Residency at Columbus Regional Health. Thamer's early training encompassed a PGY1 Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and a Graduate Teaching Assistant role at King Saud University. Educational qualifications consist of a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from King Saud University.
