Eva Swyngedouw

Eva Swyngedouw currently serves as a Guest Professor at KU Leuven since February 2024 and has held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at the Cosmopolis Centre for Urban Research at Vrije Universiteit Brussel since November 2015. Additionally, Eva Swyngedouw is a Guest Professor at Université libre de Bruxelles until September 2024 and a Senior Researcher in Conflict and Development Studies at Ghent University from September 2023 to August 2024. Previous experience includes a PhD candidate position at the University of Chicago from September 2009 to March 2016, focusing on the reception of newcomer migrants in Brussels, and another PhD candidate role at KU Leuven from September 2007 to September 2008 involving research and teaching. Eva Swyngedouw holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology from the University of Chicago and two Master's degrees, one in Social Sciences and another in Sociology, from the same institution and KU Leuven, respectively.
