Mariam Bayoumi is a Research Manager and Postdoctoral Researcher at KU Leuven since April 2024, also holding Research Manager positions at SynEry and ArTCell, both European research consortia focused on innovative biomedical solutions. SynEry aims to develop a scalable artificial blood substitute, while ArTCell is dedicated to creating artificial T cells for anti-tumor therapies, both supported by funding from the Horizon Europe programme. Mariam has been an Assistant Lecturer at Mansoura University since 2011 and previously served as a Scientist at Aelin Therapeutics, a Postdoctoral Researcher at VIB, and a Research Associate at the VIB-KU Leuven Center for Brain & Disease Research. Education includes a PhD in Biophysics from KU Leuven and a Master’s Degree in Medical Physics from Mansoura University.
