Sandrine da Cruz

Sandrine Da Cruz currently serves as Group Leader at VIB and as a Professor at KU Leuven, both positions held since 2019 and 2020, respectively. Prior roles include Investigator and Assistant Investigator at Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research Ltd from 2016 to 2022, and Research Scientist at Ludwig Cancer Research between 2013 and 2016. Sandrine's academic career began with a post-doctoral fellowship at UC San Diego from 2006 to 2013, followed by a Ph.D. from the University of Geneva, completed in 2005. Earlier educational achievements include a Master of Philosophy in Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Biochemistry, both from the University of Grenoble, where Sandrine also earned a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry.
