Tessy Martens

Tessy Martens currently serves as a Guest Lecturer in Sustainability at KU Leuven since December 2022. Previously, Tessy held various positions at BDO Belgium from August 2017 to November 2024, including Lead of the ESG Competence Centre and Inclusive Diversity Manager, focusing on integrating ESG across business practices, advancing sustainability strategies, and directing ESG reporting efforts. Prior to BDO, Tessy coordinated homecare services at Remedus and held multiple roles in operations management at Kuehne + Nagel, specializing in Lean implementation and cross-departmental collaboration. Tessy earned a Master's after Master in Maritime Sciences from the University of Antwerp and completed studies at the University of Cambridge.
