Lesley Markesbery

Lesley Markesbery has a solid work experience in the software engineering field. From 2005 to 2016, Lesley worked at Lexmark, where they gained experience in embedded solutions development, enterprise software development, and front-end software development. During this time, Lesley also held roles as a Stress & Stability Test Lead and a Stress & Stability Test Specialist.

In 2016, Lesley joined Kuali, Inc. as a Software Engineer and later took on the role of Software Development Manager. They were responsible for managing the engineering team working on the Financials product for higher education and grew the team from 3 engineers to 10. Lesley also took on the management of the operations team, which was responsible for the majority of the company.

Currently, Lesley holds the position of Senior Software Engineering Manager at Kuali, Inc. Their responsibilities include managing the engineering on the Financials product, modernizing the software, adding functionality, improving the reporting offering, supporting existing SaaS customers, and planning and managing projects to convert self-hosted customers to SaaS customers. They are also responsible for managing the operations team.

Lesley Markesbery holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky. This degree was obtained prior to the year 2006.
