Stefan Häckel

Stefan Heinemann has extensive experience in operational management, compliance, and safety within the pharmaceutical and research sectors. Notably, at Avantor, Stefan progressed from roles including Director of Sample Management, where a service line was established that grew to contribute significantly to company revenue, to Assistant Director, Archives, overseeing critical operational performance and regulatory compliance. Earlier roles included Radiation Safety Officer and Safety Officer, focusing on safety protocols and regulatory adherence. Stefan's career began in academia, with a Master's degree in Oceanography and research experience at Old Dominion University, complemented by a Bachelor's in Biology from James Madison University. Currently, Stefan is on a sabbatical after a successful career leading to the acquisition of the previous employer by a billion-dollar company.
