Chiemela Iwegbulem currently serves as a Legal Officer at Kuda, where responsibilities include reviewing novel financial products and providing regulatory advice, as well as developing company and board policies, leading to a 10% increase in regulatory ratings. Previous experience as an Associate at Jackson, Etti & Edu involved the drafting and reviewing of various agreements and advising on corporate governance policies, enhancing the ratings for clients in the FMCG and Banking sectors. Chiemela also held the role of Trainee Associate at Olisa Agbakoba Legal, where collateral documentation was reviewed for a major Nigerian bank, and has completed internships at Banwo & Ighodalo, KPMG, and SIMMONSCOOPER PARTNERS, gaining extensive exposure to legal research, due diligence, and contract analysis. Chiemela holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Afe Babalola University and completed legal training at Nigerian Law School.
