Johannes Schaetz

Johannes Schaetz has extensive work experience in various roles, primarily focused on cybersecurity and IT project management. Johannes is currently the Director of Cybersecurity Advisory EMEA at Kudelski Security. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Products Officer of Security Solutions at Asperiq. Johannes also held the position of Head of Service Strategy & Design, Cyber Defence at InfoGuard AG. Before entering the cybersecurity field, they worked at Swisscom as a Product Owner and IT Project Manager, managing cloud security products and cyber security projects. Johannes has also worked in IT project management and product management roles at ImmoStreet.ch AG, Frontiers Media, Austrian Federal Ministry of the Interior, Medefield, and ORC International.

Johannes Schaetz has a diverse education history. Johannes completed their Bachelor's degree in History & Politics from London Metropolitan University in 2007. Johannes then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Historical Research & Public Management from Birkbeck, University of London, from 2007 to 2008. In 2013, they obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Technology Management from The Open University. Schaetz continued their education at The Open University and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from 2014 to 2017. Johannes'smost recent educational endeavor is a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, which they are expected to complete in 2023. In addition to their formal education, Schaetz has also obtained various certifications, including SAFe 4.0 Certified Practitioner, SAFe 4.0 Certified Product Owner/Product Manager, SAFe 4.0 Certified Agilist, IPMA Level C, and Prince2.
