Patrick Pleinevaux has a solid work experience in the field of cybersecurity and network architecture. Patrick began their career in 1991 as a First Assistant at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne. From there, they joined Digital Equipment Corporation as the European Network Applications Services Manager. In 1999, they moved to Swisscom as a Network Engineer. In 2002, Patrick joined IBM as a Network Architect, and later became a Security Architect. Their role at IBM lasted until 2013, when they joined Kudelski Security as a Cybersecurity Architect. Patrick then progressed to roles such as Principal Security Architect and Director of Enterprise Security Architecture at Kudelski, showing their continued growth and expertise in the field.
Patrick Pleinevaux earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) between 1988 and 1990. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as SCP - SABSA Chartered Architect at Practitioner Level from The SABSA Institute in 2016 and CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) from ISACA in 2013.
