Ekene Umeh

Ekene Umeh is an experienced software engineer currently working at Nomba as a Backend Software Engineer, focusing on the maintenance of micro-services using Java Spring Boot, Java Dropwizard, and Node.js, and enhancing mobile app functionalities. Previously, Ekene held roles at iNterra Networks, where responsibilities included designing RESTful APIs and implementing multiple payment gateway integrations, in addition to a dual role as a Product Manager and Software Engineer, overseeing project sprints and providing technical leadership. Prior to a successful career in software engineering, Ekene gained experience in civil engineering through various roles, including Assistant Project Manager at Charlymary Engineering Company Ltd and Site Engineer at Achimore Construction Company. Ekene holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
