Andrew P. has a broad work experience in software engineering, malware analysis, reverse engineering, and network security. Andrew began their career in 2010 as a Computer Science Tutor at The University of Texas at San Antonio. In 2010, they also joined Ishpi Information Technologies, Inc. as a Network Penetration Analyst and Auditor. In 2014, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer and Malware Reverse Engineer at Global InfoTek, Inc. and as a Senior Software Engineer and Reverse Engineer at a Private Cybersecurity Startup. In 2017, they became a Software Engineer III at a Private Company, a Professor/Lecturer for Special Studies at The University of Texas at San Antonio, and Vice President at CyberDEF Dojo. In 2019, they were appointed President of CyberDEF Dojo (501c3). Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Kudu Dynamics LLC.

Andrew P. has a Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio, which they obtained in 2016. Andrew also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from the same university, which they obtained in 2010. In addition, Andrew P. has obtained several certifications, including PenTest+ from CompTIA in February 2018, GIAC Certified UNIX Security Administrator (GCUX) from Global Information Assurance Certification in August 2009, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) from Global Information Assurance Certification in June 2009, ISO 3103 Specialist, and Security+ from CompTIA.
