Armando Varela

Armando Varela is an experienced professional in the logistics and airfreight industry, currently serving as the Director of Key Account Development - High Tech North America at Kuehne+Nagel since September 2013. Varela has held various roles, including Head of Business Development for Airfreight and Tradelane Director for Airfreight in Europe, focusing on airfreight development and profitability. Prior experience includes a position as Tradelane Development Manager for Europe at Panalpina and managing industry verticals for the Fashion & Retail sector. Varela began a career in sales administration at Construmac and holds a Licenciatura in Relaciones Internacionales from Universidad del Valle de México, as well as pursuing further education at Wharton Executive Education.
